BMW Motorrad launched two cars and one superbike at the JoyTown festival, including its latest electric scooter, the BMW CE 04. A 120 kmph top speed and 130 km maximum range are part of the CE 04, which was unveiled globally on July 7, 2021. CE 04 retains many of the features that were shown in concept form a few years ago.
In conjunction with #NEXTGen 2020, BMW Motorrad will present the near-series version of the BMW Motorrad Concept Link as BMW Motorrad Definition CE 04. BMW Motorrad Definition CE 04 allows urban commuters to seamlessly switch between the digital and analog worlds through its integrated transportation and communication functions. With its electric motor, trailblazing design, and innovative connectivity solutions, it aims to redefine the scooter market.

Innovative Architecture & Trailblazing Design:

BMW CE 04 has a futuristic design that remains true to 2020’s Definition CE 04 concept. The scooter looks futuristic, and long-ish, with a flat, bench-type seat, and sharp bodywork, accentuated by creases and complemented by full-LED lighting.

Performance & Range:

A maximum range of 130 km can be achieved with the 8.9 kWh battery. As a result of its high speeds and quick acceleration, the CE 04 can reach 120 kmph at top speed in just 2.6 seconds from zero to 50 kmph. The maximum power of this machine is 31KW or 42hp. The rated power of this machine is 15kW (20hp).
Features:

There is an integrated navigation and connectivity system built into the 10.25-inch TFT color screen of the BMW CE 04. In addition to the front storage compartment, both sides of the scooter have storage compartments. Additionally, a ventilated mobile phone charging compartment with a USB-C port is included.
Electronics:

There are three riding modes on the BMW CE 04, including Eco, Road, and Rain, along with traction control and ABS. Additionally, ABS now features a new Slick mode and Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), which ignores accidental inputs from the electronic throttle after detecting a certain degree of deceleration.
Pricing & Availability:

There is no word on whether BMW Motorrad plans to offer its CE 04 electric scooter in India by 2022, it is expected to be available in Europe and select international markets, including the US.
