The Ducati product portfolio has been updated and for the international markets, the brand-new Ducati Diavel V4 has been unveiled. Despite not yet having any details about the launch of this power cruiser, it is expected to make its way into India as well.
Ducati Diavel V4 Engine

After the Panigale, Streetfighter, and Multistrada, the V4 Granturismo engine has made its way into the family of the Diavel, which is the latest addition to the family. A power cruiser from the Italian manufacturer now utilizes a 1,158cc, liquid-cooled, 4-cylinder engine that pumps out 165.7bhp at a maximum speed of 10,750rpm and 126Nm of peak torque at a maximum speed of 7,500rpm in this new generation of the model.
While on the other hand, the weight of the V4-powered Diavel is 13kg lower than that of the Diavel 1260, so it offers a slightly better power-to-weight ratio in comparison to the Diavel 1260. Similarly to the Multistrada V4, major maintenance is scheduled at intervals of 60,000 kilometers in addition to the extended deactivation system, which is intended to improve fuel economy. During stationary periods or when the engine speed is at a low level, this feature will shut off the rear bank of the vehicle.
Ducati Diavel V4 Features & Specifications

Another noteworthy feature is the revised styling, which is new yet reminiscent of the Diavel family. In order to accomplish this, it features a muscular design with a single-sided swingarm and a huge rear tyre with a 240/45 section. Unlike its predecessor, the V4 version of the Diavel comes with a fresh headlight design, four exhaust pipes on one side, and a futuristic-looking LED taillight that distinguish this model from its predecessor, which had a V-twin engine.
Aside from the upside-down forks and the cantilever rear shock absorber, other hardware on the Diaval V4 includes Brembo Stylema calipers with dual 330mm discs at the front and 50mm upside-down front forks.

In addition to the complete electronic package, the bike provides three power modes, four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and a new Wet mode), traction control with cornering control, ABS with cornering control, launch control, and wheelie control. There is a cruise control system on the motorcycle, as well as a bidirectional quick-shifter, which adds to its convenience. Despite these differences, it still misses the radar-based adaptive cruise control that is available on the Multistrada V4 which is a major drawback. In addition to this, the dashboard also features a five-inch color TFT display with Bluetooth functionality and a full LED lighting system.
