Design and Colours

The KTM 390 Adventure X has an identical design to the standard 390 ADV. It comes with an all-LED headlamp with LED DRL, LED turn indicators, and an LED taillamp. The bike features alloy wheels and is available in two colours, Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano.

Engine and Gearbox

Powering the 390 Adventure X is a 373.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 43 bhp and 37 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and comes with ride-by-wire throttle along with an assist & slipper clutch.

Hardware and Features

The KTM 390 Adventure X comes with USD front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. It has disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS. However, the X variant misses out on several features that are offered on the standard 390 ADV. It comes with an LCD display instead of the multi-colour TFT console, and doesn’t offer Bluetooth connectivity, riding modes (street and off-road), traction control, quick-shifter, or cornering ABS.

The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure X is priced at Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 59,000 less than the standard 390 ADV. The bike will compete against other adventure motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G 310 GS, and others.
