Kia India has recently announced the re-opening of bookings for its flagship electric vehicle (EV) offering in India, the Kia EV6. The company had initially launched the Kia EV6 in India as a completely built-up (CBU) unit in June last year, and it has sold 432 units of the vehicle so far. The 2023 EV6 will be offered in the same two variants as before, namely the GT Line and GT Line AWD (all-wheel drive), priced at Rs 60.95 lakh and Rs 65.95 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. However, the new price tag makes the Kia EV6 Rs 1 lakh more expensive than its previous version.
Booking the Kia EV6 is now possible at select dealerships or online. Additionally, Kia India is offering exclusive ownership privileges to the first 200 buyers, including a 95% buyback policy within 30 days, free periodic maintenance for five years, and eight years/ 1,60,000 kms warranty on the battery.

The RWD version of the EV6 comes with a single electric motor mounted at the back, producing 229 PS power and 350 Nm torque. On the other hand, the AWD version features electric motors on both the axles with a power output of 325 PS and a peak torque rating of 625 Nm.
