KTM India Launches the 2023 KTM 250 Adventure Bike at Rs 2.47 Lakh with OBD2 Compliance

KTM India has launched the 2023 version of its adventure-tourer bike, the 2023 KTM 250 Adventure Bike, at a price of Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The quarter-litre motorcycle features a 248.76cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that conforms to OBD2 standards, making it an eco-friendlier option.

OBD2-Compliant KTM Motorcycles: 390 Duke, RC 200, and RC 390

2023 KTM 250 Adventure Bike

Along with the 250 Adventure, KTM India has also introduced OBD2-compliant motorcycles – the 390 Duke, the RC 200, and the RC 390. The RC 390 is priced at Rs 3.18 lakh, while the 390 Duke and the RC 200 are available at Rs 2.97 lakh and Rs 2.17 lakh, respectively. These bikes also feature mechanical upgrades while maintaining their previous design and features.

KTM 250 Adventure: Engine and Gearbox

The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure is powered by a 248.76cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with a Bosche electronic Fi system. It produces a maximum power of 29.6bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 24Nm at 7,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a slipper clutch.

2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Exterior Design

The updated KTM 250 Adventure retains its predecessor’s design elements such as a single-pod headlamp, short windscreen, side-slung exhaust, and split-style seat with a height of 855mm. The bike is equipped with a 14.5-litre fuel tank and rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.

2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Features

The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure retains its features, including a halogen headlamp, LED DRLs, an LED taillamp, and LED turn indicators. It also features a digital instrument cluster that displays average speed, gear position indicator, and other essential information.

2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Suspension & Braking

The KTM 250 Adventure’s tubular split-trellis frame houses a 43mm inverted fork suspension at the front and a pre-load adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. The motorcycle comes equipped with a 320mm single disc and a radially-mounted calliper at the front and a 230mm single rotor with a floating calliper at the rear. Additionally, it features dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, and a 12V socket.

2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Price and Colours

The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure is available at a price of Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It is available in two colour options – Factory Racing Blue and Electronic Orange.
