Among the various 4×4 SUVs available in the Indian market, the Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular and affordable models. Its waiting period shows the increase in demand since it was first launched in 2020. The market offers a variety of modifications for those who already own the current generation Thar in their garage. The Gurugram-based company Bimbra 4×4 is one of the most popular names among SUV modifiers and has modified Mahindra Thar several times. Our example here is a Mahindra Thar soft top convertible SUV that has been extensively modified.

In a Facebook post, Bimbra 4×4 shared pictures of this modified Mahindra Thar. All modifications to this SUV have been shown in the images. In this SUV, the color itself is the main attraction. A Sarge Green shade has been applied to the entire SUV. Jeep Wrangler SUVs are commonly painted in this color. In itself, the paint job of the Thar has improved its overall look a great deal. The pictures now look much more rugged and butch. Rather than being a wrap, it is an actual paint job.

We can see more modifications at the front as we move forward. A new grille has been installed on the front. A Jeep Wrangler-style aftermarket grille has been installed in place of the stock grille. It has also been replaced with halogen headlamps that come with the SUV from the factory.

In addition, it now has dual-function LED DRLs integrated with LED units that have a better throw. Also replaced on this Mahindra Thar is the stock bumper. Shackles and LED fog lamps are now integrated into the aftermarket off-road bumper. In addition to the bumper, a metal skid plate is included. A aftermarket LED DRL with halogen turn indicator has been installed on the fender in place of the stock LED DRL.

Any Thar modification is incomplete without alloy wheels, and this SUV gets 20 inch aftermarket alloy wheels from Fuel brand. A new set of alloy wheels has been installed on Thar in place of the factory-supplied 18-inch wheels. A 20-inch aftermarket wheel has been wrapped with off-road spec tires, giving the car an off-road appearance. Also included is a custom-made cover for the spare wheel, which is also a 20 inch unit. A sequential turn indicator is also included in the aftermarket LED tail lamp at the rear of the vehicle. Despite its new front bumper, this SUV still has its original rear bumper that has reflector LED lights.

Interior customization has been done to this Mahindra Thar just like the exterior. A custom colour match has been made between the seats and the exterior. In the door pads and some areas of the seats, a material whose appearance is similar to crocodile leather has been used. There is no indication that this is genuine leather. Adding green colour to the door pads and seat goes well with the overall appearance of the SUV. A driver’s armrest has also been added and the AC vents have been customized.
