On the existing XT trim of the Tiago hatchback, the brand has updated the equipment list as well. A new XT trim of the Tata Tiago NRG has been launched in India at a price of Rs 6.42 lakh (ex-showroom). This new XT trim is priced below the fully loaded XZ trim of Tiago’s cross-hatch derivative, which retails for Rs 6.83 lakh-7.37 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The design and features of the Tiago NRG XT trim

On the fully loaded Tiago NRG XZ trim, the fog lamps, faux roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, and the black plastic cladding over the wheel arches are all available. It is, however, equipped with 14-inch steel wheels as opposed to the 15-inch dual-tone alloys that are included on the XZ trim.
A comparison of the NRG XT trim with the XZ trim shows that it comes with a 2-DIN audio system, versus the touchscreen infotainment system on the XZ trim, but it comes with a dark interior, integrated steering wheel controls, a vanity mirror on the passenger side, and an adjustable driver’s seat height.
The powertrain of the Tata Tiago NRG XT trim
Mechanically, the Tiago NRG cross-hatch is identical to the hatchback, delivering 86 horsepower and 113Nm from its three-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine. As opposed to the XZ trim, which comes with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox option, the new XT trim only offers a 5-speed manual.

Moreover, the Tiago hatchback’s XT trim has been upgraded with new features, and it is now priced between Rs 6.15 lakh and Rs 7.05 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to the height-adjustable driver’s seat, the vehicle now has a rear parcel shelf, a vanity mirror on the passenger’s side, and a blacked-out B-pillar.
