The Honda CRF300L has been teased for some time now, but the company is reluctant to launch the motorcycle in India. It has received a mild update for the MY2023 model year, and there are a few changes made to make the motorcycle look a bit fresher and more contemporary. A closer look at the details reveals that the MY2023 Honda CRF300L is painted Swift Grey with black hand guards. Moreover, this new color scheme is exclusive to the MY2023 ADV.

A few splashes of orange color also appear on the fuel tank to add a little extra colour to this fairly dark scheme. Aside from the classic Extreme Red colour scheme with white and blue splashes, MY2023 Honda CRF300L motorcycles are also available in the classic Extreme Red colour scheme. Red hand guards are included with this colour scheme for a neatly coordinated overall look on the Honda CRF300L.

Honda’s CRF model range, which includes motorcycles for motocross and dual-sport use, refers to the motorcycles produced by the two-wheeler manufacturer. Motorcycles like these are manufactured to handle harsh weather and terrains all over the world, which makes them very popular among adventure seekers and off-road riders.

The Honda CRF300L has a long travel mono shock suspension at the rear, 43mm USD forks at the front, spoked wheels of 21 and 18 inches, an engine guard, and disc brakes that measure 256mm at the front and 220mm at the rear, retractable metal footpegs, knobby tires, and much more in terms of hardware. Furthermore, the it is powered by a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 27 horsepower and 26.6 Nm of torque.

It is worthwhile to mention that despite the engine’s modest power and torque figures, it was tuned to produce better low-end power and torque, which is a better match for a motorcycle of this class. With its 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, the Honda CRF300L has a powerful powertrain. The Honda CRF300L motorcycle is also lighter than the Hero Xpulse 200, weighing just 142kg. There is also a substantial 285mm difference between the ground clearance of the CRF300L and that of the Honda CRF300.

CRF300L Review – My Thoughts

Honda CRF300L

There is a great deal of simple elegance about the CRF300L as well as a very purposeful appearance. Furthermore, the bike looks very promising, and the segment seems to be appealing to a lot more people these days, which makes it an excellent time to launch an adventure bike. Nevertheless, CRF300L’s success will be heavily influenced by its price – which is renowned for its high prices.
