There are two trims available for the Toyota Hyryder CNG, and bookings are ongoing at a price of Rs 25,000.

The prices starting at Rs 13.23 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and going up to Rs 15.29 lakh (Ex-Showroom), Toyota has launched the Hyryder CNG in India. As early as November 2022, the brand had already opened bookings for the Hyryder CNG for Rs 25,000. There is a 95,000 rupee price difference between the Hyryder CNG and its similar petrol-powered variant. Besides the Maruti Grand Vitara, the Hyryder is only the second midsize SUV to be equipped with a CNG system factory fitted.

- The fuel economy is claimed to be 26.60km/kg.
- This vehicle is powered by an Ertiga 1.5-liter K15C engine that runs on XL6 CNG.

In addition to the E and S trims, the petrol-powered Hyryder is also available in the G and V trims. CNG-powered Hyryders, meanwhile, will only be available in S and G trim levels. Compared to its CNG counterpart, here’s a table that illustrates the difference in price between the regular Hyryder and its CNG equivalent.

The Hyryder CNG S trim is Rs 38,000 more expensive than the similar Delta trim of the Grand Vitara CNG. Meanwhile, the Hyryder G CNG is Rs 45,000 more expensive than the Grand Vitara Zeta CNG equivalent.
The Toyota Hyryder CNG Powertrain Details Are :-

CNG-spec Hyryder CNG comes with the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, K12C engine as XL6 CNG and Ertiga CNG. In petrol mode, the engine generates 103 Horsepower and 136Nm, but in CNG-spec, the engine delivers 88 Horsepower and 121.5Nm. It can also be had only with a 5-speed manual transmission, as is the case with most CNG models. Toyota claims to be able to achieve 26.6km/kg fuel economy with the midsized SUV.
The Toyota Hyryder CNG Design And Features Are :-

Despite the addition of CNG badging, the Hyryder CNG retains the exterior design of its mild-hybrid petrol counterpart. Compared to the Maruti counterpart, the Grand Vitara, the Hyryder CNG has an all-black interior with the same steering wheel and switchgear. It has, however, been installed with a 60-litre CNG tank in the boot, which reduces the storage capacity compared to its petroleum counterpart.

A full-LED headlamp, 17-inch alloy wheels, a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, an engine start/stop button, six airbags, cruise control, and a reversing camera with parking sensors are among the equipment included in the Hyryder CNG’s G trim.

With this new CNG engine, the Hyryder CNG will squarely compete against the Grand Vitara CNG, which is the only other midsize SUV with a CNG engine option. It will also be able to overtake other midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Nissan Kicks, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun.
