Yamaha’s 2022 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition R15M and MT-15 V2 launched in India
The 2021 MotoGP Monster Edition has been a huge success for Yamaha India, so they have now introduced the 2022 Monster Energy MotoGP Edition R15M and MT-15 V2. The MotoGP Edition lineup is inspired by Team Blue’s race bikes from the prestigious event.
- It now costs Rs 8,100 more for the R15M MotoGP Edition
- In both models, a new paint scheme is applied over the standard paint scheme
- The mechanical bits and other aspects remain the same
The bike does not have any mechanical or feature changes. A 155cc liquid-cooled motor powers both the R15M and MT-15, rated at 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm (14.1Nm for the MT-15). Even the standard models’ features list, braking hardware, and suspension have been retained.
It costs Rs 1,90,900 to purchase the Yamaha R15M MotoGP Edition. In comparison with Metallic Grey, that’s Rs 8,100 more than before. As for the MT-15 Ver 2.0 MotoGP Edition, it is priced at 1,65,400 (both ex-showroom Delhi), which is Rs 2,000 higher than its base model.
